Fiber usually offers higher speeds and stability; many plans have 24-month contracts (exceptions: Globe GFiber Prepaid, Converge Surf2Sawa). 5G home needs a kit and works well where fiber isn't available; Smart and DITO offer prepaid, no-contract options.
Not always. Globe GFiber Prepaid (₱999/30 days) and Converge Surf2Sawa (₱700/30 days) are no-contract. Most other fiber plans (PLDT, Converge BIDA/FiberX, Sky) have 24-month contracts.
